The Argument for GMRS...Is This the Better Way to Stay Connected?

Imagine you’re deep in the woods or amid a sea of dunes, somewhere too far from civilization to still have cell service. When you’re riding such remote places, staying connected with your buddies while on the trail is crucial for the overall safety of the group. While many still turn to walkie-talkies or CB radios, the general interest and consensus for what works best has shifted to General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS), a type of radio service which offers better clarity, longer range, and generally less frustration than the aforementioned, making it (arguably) the best option to take and off-road in general.

A Story in Photos: Testing Honda's Showa-Equipped Talon 1000

As spring came to a close, we traveled to Johnson Valley in California to meet up with Honda Powersports for a scorching hot ride through the desert. Starlink Mini Launches at $599, Offering Travel-Friendly Wi-Fi Roaming

The age of accessing the internet anywhere at any time continues to blossom with the announcement of Starlink's $599 Mini roaming. It is small enough to fit in a backpack, tough enough to ride along in a UTV, and it brings high-speed internet to users wherever they go. Dakar Racer Eryk Goczał Rips a Can-Am Mav R through an Amusement Park

Eryk Goczał, the youngest winner of the Dakar Rally (age 19), took a little spin in his 240-horsepower Can-Am Maverick R through Energylandia, an amusement park located in Zator, Poland, which is owned by his father, Marek Goczał, who also competes in the T3 category at Dakar. The video was produced by MCH Photo who followed the Goczał family at the 2024 edition of the Dakar Rally where both Eryk and his uncle, Michal, were disqualified for using a non-permitted part on their Taurus T3 Max challengers - discovered during the rest day in Riyadh. Although the disqualification was certainly a setback for the Goczał family and their Dakar efforts, that didn't stop young Eryk from taking advantage of his family's property, ripping through the empty amusement park like Ken Block in his Can-Am Maverick R! What would you do if someone handed you the keys to a Can-Am inside of Energylandia?!
