CFMOTO has just unveiled its 2025 off-road lineup, and it’s clear they’ve been busy in the lab. This isn’t just a refresh with some new color schemes – we’re talking serious upgrades across the board. The new CFMOTO Z10 leads the pack with more power under the hood and tech that takes your off-road experience up a notch. But they didn’t stop there. Whether you’re into rugged UTVs or nimble ATVs, CFMOTO has something in store for every adventurer in 2025.

Suzuki is beefing up the King Quad 750AXi Power Steering SE+ with the Rugged Package. This accessory pack includes upgrades that buyers would likely add via the aftermarket with LED lights and heavy bumpers both front and rear. While this isn't any real overhaul, it does make for a more compelling package at only a slight premium over the price of the machine without the package.

The UTV wars are alive and well, and you need to look no further than Polaris and Can-Am for proof. Meanwhile, although ATVs are seemingly dwindling in their presence as of late, ever-evolving (and improving) machines from the duo are keen to disprove the lack of excitement about the category. Can-Am is up to volley the next best thing into the market by releasing its 2025 models like the new Maverick R Max and Outlander 850 / 1000R. These fresh takes on classic Can-Am machines could be winning the match this time around, but we'll let you tell us what you think. Nonetheless, this is proving to be the golden age of powersports off-roaders.

Fox Racing grew from motocross racing in the 1970s when Geoff Fox formed a team of riders to compete against the factory teams. These riders used Fox’s engine and suspension components, and to make them look the part of a team, Fox created Team Moto-X Fox riding gear using bright red, yellow and orange colors. This was the birth of the Fox Racing gear clothing brand as it was a huge hit. From those beginnings, the company branched out into more Fox Racing gear, and eventually started working with riders from other teams.

We’re nearing two decades of the Canadian three-wheeled contraptions known as the Can-Am Spyder. Back in 2007, I was a few months from graduating high school when the Can-Am Spyder was cast out into the world in February of that year. I remember the first manual Spyder that rolled onto the dealership showroom floor where I worked. I even remember my first thought, “This thing is going to be a drift machine!” And I was correct. Enter the new RMAX4, now with a longer wheelbase and a major comfort boost – perfect for when you want to bring the whole squad. They didn’t stop there either with a little somethin’ for the growing (literally) ATV crowd: the Grizzly 110. This fresh-faced model borrowed the engine from the Raptor 110 which debuted in 2023, making it green sticker emissions compliant. (You’re welcome, California.)

Matthew McNulty had the chance to hop in the driver's seat of Honda Powersports "factory" upgraded Talon 1000 equipped with a turbocharger courtesy of Jackson Racing (JR). While it takes a few tweaks to fit this new system into their trusty platform perfectly, the tuning from JR is so precise that the HRC team has been rocking it for years. And now consumers, like Mr. McNulty, have the chance to rip like a racecar driver (well, almost). As spring came to a close, we traveled to Johnson Valley in California to meet up with Honda Powersports for a scorching hot ride through the desert. Their flagship Talon 1000 (two- and four-seater) side-by-side is now sporting Showa suspension from the factory, and we had the opportunity to test them out through deep canyons, rocky hill climbs, and sandy washes. While you'll probably see how much fun we had in this gallery, you'll need to read our review to learn exactly how that new system handled the punishment.

The age of accessing the internet anywhere at any time continues to blossom with the announcement of Starlink's $599 Mini roaming. While the mobile service has been available to jet-setters and overlanders for some time, this new portable device opens the worldwide web to a much wider (and sometimes more compact) range of travelers. It is small enough to fit in a backpack, tough enough to ride along in a UTV, and it brings high-speed internet to users wherever they go. Sounds like a great addition to the essentials list for side-by-side overlanders or even as a camp accessory to multi-day ATV trips to remote places, doesn't it?
