Powersports P*rn | Grind Hard Built the Ultimate ATV Drifter

The Ultimate Amazon ATV? Grind Hard Plumbing Co. Builds a Sleeper Drift Quad

The gang at   Grind Hard Plumbing Co. picked up the cheapest ATV they could find on Amazon and transformed it into an absolutely insane all electric 'drift quad.' Initially, the petrol powered unit was outfitted with a turbocharger, but that wasn't enough horsepower for the Grind Hard guys... Originally powered by a 125cc single cylinder that produced 7.64 HP at 7000 RPM with an estimated max speed of 35 MPH depending on the weight of the rider, the XproUSA 125cc ATV is designed to be an entry level, low cost option for someone looking to get their kids (or perhaps themselves) into the sport. But those numbers aren't going to cut it, especially for the crew at Grind Hard!

They have a reputation for building some of the craziest custom contraptions out of their garage in North Idaho. So, when they rolled the XproUSA out of their workshop for the final time, it was no longer a low power, entry level ATV, but instead an all electric animal making 26 HP! After stripping the ATV down to the frame, replacing the wheels and tires with an aluminum setup from a Go-Kart, fabricating some custom motor mounts and widening the overall width thanks to custom spacers, the team then tackled the powerplant, replacing the previously turbocharged 125cc four-stroke with an electric motor and speed controller producing 20,000 watts of power that took this tiny ATV to a whole new level!

How To Build A Sleeper Drift Quad!

Did someone say donuts, burnouts and wheelies?! This isn't your over-the-counter Amazon ATV anymore! So, sit back and enjoy the build process, or just skip to the tomfoolery at the   38-minute mark.

Pro Tip: Wear proper gear when you ride something as insane as this. The team at ATV.com does not condone riding without the right kind of equipment. Nor the improper use of any vehicles. People featured in any YouTube video that share in this "Powersports P*rn" segment is either a professional... or an idiot. So, just don't try any of this at home.
