Pennsylvania DCNR Announces $2.1 Million in Grants to OHV Groups

For this round of grants, Pennsylvania's DCNR pulled together $2,124,200 to donate to organizations seeking to open or keep open OHV trails and facilities. The majority of this was given to the Piney Rail Riders to the tune of $937,900, which the western Pennsylvania organization says will be used to create the Piney Branch All-Terrain Vehicle Rail Corridor on 550 acres of newly-purchased land, which in turn will house hundreds of miles of trails for ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes. What's great about this is that the expansion not only benefits those partaking in OHV activities, but also local business owners as the expansion in tourism attraction will help boost the local economies as well.
