Roughly 3,600 CFMOTO ZFORCE 950 H.O. side-by-sides have been recalled for suspension failure. Recall number 24-307 under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission notes that 2022-2023 models are subject to this notice, which brings with it a Stop Ride recommendation as the subject of the recall can cause incident and/or injury.

The recall at hand has been issued due to the possibility of the shock absorber's rod assembly having an increased likelihood of unthreading and detaching. In turn, this can cause the collapse of the suspension, which is cause for an elevated crash and rollover hazard. CFMOTO has issued a Stop Ride recommendation, meaning affected machines should not be used until they are repaired.

CFMOTO's remedy for this issue is undisclosed, but the company will be providing a free repair via its dealership service departments. CFMOTO encourages owners to reach out to their authorized CFMOTO dealer to schedule an appointment immediately. While only 86 incidents of this issue have been reported, CFMOTO did the right thing by issuing this recall. For more information visit CFMOTO's website or that of the CPSC.
