Think about all the cool accessories you can add to your machine. You can add some sweet lighting options to give you a better riding experience after dark. And let’s be honest, once you ride after dark in a machine that has extra lighting, you will never want to go back to the dim world of stock lights.

You can also add a winch to your machine, which comes in handy for that one guy in your riding party who always thinks that, no matter how deep the mud pit is, he can make it. He probably never checks to see how deep it is before he plunges in, right? And if you can’t think of who that guy is, it might be you. Regardless, if you add a winch, you have some much-needed help to get any machine out of the mess.

For all these wonderful accessories, you need to have a switch to turn it on and off. Moose Utility is here to help with a full line of really nice switches that can be mounted to your dash and give you control of the situation.

Keeping A Low Profile

Many of the factory switches you see today are low profile. They don’t require much movement to engage them and they keep everything looking factory fresh. Moose Utility Low Profile Switches are perfect for this application. They make a range of switches labeled for different applications. The cool thing is, you can get them in either red or blue as an LED backlit switch to match your factory switch colors, or you can mix things up with your switches, and do whatever you want.

The Low Profile switches are available labeled for a specific use. There is an LED light bar switch, roof lights, whip lights, winch lights, and even a horn switch for machines equipped with a horn. A horn is really handy for those times when you want to alert another rider on the trail that you’re coming up behind him/her. There are also generic on/off switches that you can use for whatever you want. You may, for example, have an LED light bar, and also want to run ditch lights. You can use the generic on/off switches for your ditches. It’s all up to you.

Get Rocking

Moose Utility has a wide range of Rocker Switches that are close to the Polaris design, giving you an option to add switches to the dash that keep a factory look, but are specific in nature and label to the accessories you add. They offer a switch specific to just about everything. Okay, there is no kitchen sink switch, but you can probably just use one of the multi-purpose rocker switches for that. Moose Utility has switches to power up helmet air system, heater, radio, whip lights, accessory lights, winch, and more. It also offers these rocker switches in different colors to let you personalize your panel of switches, or match your factory look.

The rocker switches have textured knobs on the contact areas, making it easier to grip and operate the switch. This is really helpful when you are wearing gloves (which you should be anyway), or if you’ve found the mud and everything is sloppy and slippery.

Never Make A Wrong Turn

Does your UTV have turn signals? It is actually a great idea, as it helps those behind you know which way you’re going. Of course, if you're going to set up turn signals, guess what? You’re going to need a switch for it and Moose also has you covered with a Turn Signal Switch. This simple switch mounts anywhere a switch can be mounted and is simple operation. Off is in the middle, top is left, and bottom is right.

Let There Be Light

Another Moose Utility Switch that is a great idea, is a switch and accessory all in one! The Moose Utility Map Light mounts into a switch location on your dash and is a simple push on/push off activation. The switch surface is an LED light that lets you read maps, find stuff, or whatever else you want a light to show you. Have you ever fumbled with finding something while on a night ride? Sure we all have. Even if you have a dome light, there are still shadowy spots around the dash. That is why this light/switch is so cool. It can be used to help you find your keys to get into the cabin after a night ride, or find your registration paperwork if you get checked by the authorities. It’s a handy thing to have and it mounts easily and wires up just like another switch, making it a great thing to add when you’re wiring other accessories.
