Rotax V-twin 499.6 cc EFI engine: This powerful engine is liquid cooled with SOHC with 4 valves per cylinder and features 2 injectors for a precise fuel delivery and throttle response.
RS-type TTI rear suspension: With TTI, the pivot points are ahead of the wheels, the rear wheels pivot up and down, keeping the tread on the ground to improve traction and handling. Since TTI only moves up and down (see B) and never side-to-side like a traditional suspension (see A), the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it.
Visco-Lok 4x4 with front differential: The Visco-Lok constantly monitors front wheel speed and, if it detects one wheel spinning faster than its mate, it progressively sends more power to the wheel with the better traction. And it does it all without the rider having to lift a finger.
RS-type double A-arm front suspension: Developed in collaboration with Can-Am pro racers, the RS-Type double A-arm front suspension of the Renegade was designed with the track and trail in mind. The RS-Type dive-control geometry provides critical feedback to the rider, and its 8.5" (216 mm) of long travel absorbs the high impacts of intense riding.
